Switching your neurologist, or any doctor for that matter, can be a daunting experience. Changing from a local neurologist to a nationally recognized one at a hospital with an international reputation is even more intimidating. Very few people are willing to make that type of change unless their current neurologist retires, moves or fails them in an epic way. COGNET: Neuropsychological Study

Dr. Elan Louis and colleagues at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) have undertaken a new national research initiative COGNET (acronym for Cognitive and ET).COGNET

The objective is to learn more about the link between essential tremor and cognitive impairment. Dr. Louis and his colleagues are calling on the assistance of the ET community to help them complete this groundbreaking, NIH-funded research. The neuropsychological research study is not limited to the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT). CUMC is recruiting participants from all over the Country. (more…)
